WOW!!! We have had a great week so far.  I am enjoying getting to know all my new kids and seeing all my last year ones as they walk toward the 1st grade hall.  This week we have mainly been focusing on rules and procedures.  Next week we will begin our two week unit on colors.  Be on the lookout for sight words that will be sent home Monday.

It's that time of year again and school is about to begin!!  Summer has gone by way to fast!  I have spent my summer at the ball park watching Kutter play Lights Out ball, at hog shows watching MacKynze and Kutter show their hogs and hanging out by the pool with all my kids, friends and family.  I love summer time!! I have also been working in my classroom.  It got a makeover this summer. The walls and cabinets were painted. I am working very hard to get it ready for a new group of excited Kindergartners!!  Have a good rest of the summer and I will post info on Meet The Teacher as it gets closer to time!!

Wow!!! The year is going by fast! Be sure and study the spelling words and math facts.  We have our test every Friday.  This week we have been talking about Black History.  Next week is all about Valentine's.  Our party is Thursday from 1:30-2:00.  We will have ice cream sundaes with all the fixings.  I sent home a letter explaining this and attached a class list to the back.  Have a great week!!!

Summer is coming to an end and soon school will begin.  I have been working in my room and getting everything ready for a new school year and a new bunch of kindergartners!!!  I hope they are super excited about what is in store for them this year!!!!
